ADAPTATION AND DISTINCTION
In the ÍTACA residential development, each block adapts to “its place.” Its topography, its orientation, its relationship with the garden, its views of the sea. We do not look for mass housing when we, as individuals, are so different.
At ITACA every house is special. Its paths, doorways, pavements, squares, and terraces are full of gestures of cordiality that nourish and unite its inhabitants, thus generating contexts of protection. And as you go up in height, the buildings cast their gazes in the direction that suits them best: sometimes they point to the treetops of the garden, sometimes they point to the bustle of the avenue, and sometimes they seek the serenity of infinite horizons. A white, orthogonal wall, full of terraces and porches, envelops the exterior of the plot as if it were a “mirror wall,” reflecting light and views of the sea.
LANDSCAPING
The ÍTACA residential complex has a formidable landscaped complex of more than 10,000 m² on a plot of about 13,000 m². We have prioritized the well-being and comfort of the users of the residential complex, as they will find multiple services and areas in which to relax and feel that they are in a great oasis in the middle of the city.
An entrance to the development has been created with large benches and fountains where you can rest, meet, or simply feel a sense of peace and refuge as soon as you enter the development. A large social club surrounds it with pergolas, bars, and meeting places. There is a multi-sports court, two paddle tennis courts, a petanque area, traditional and recreational children’s play areas, a multitude of bicycle racks, benches, fountains, table tennis, and garden areas in which to relax, as well as several open areas for recreational use. The large pool area has showers, solariums, lawns, and a water play area for children.
The residential development has been designed to be a large open-air community recreation area in which every little corner of the plot is enjoyed and experienced by all the users of the area.
