LUXURY HOMES IN A NATURAL SETTING

The project is located in the central and highest part of the Las Colinas Golf & Country Club residential complex, a valley between hills with sea views.The conceptual idea is based on a series of luxury houses on the top of a hill that seeks to look out to sea, emerging from the pine forest that surrounds it, working on the limits between the natural and the artificial, modernity and tradition.

Its dominant position makes the project a landmark image visible from the entrance to the development which, despite being two housing estates, exudes an image of low building density. Its single-pitched roofs and double-height windows are the stars of the “top of the hill.”

The proposal is divided volumetrically for its integration into the mountains and the natural environment. The materials used and their colors, white and earthy, to integrate the existing environment, both natural and built, into the residential complex.It consists of 19 dwellings distributed in two independent volumes, generating a great typological variety of 2 and 3 bedrooms.

The proposal is completed with careful landscaping of the plot, creating attractive spaces for residents to stay, including an infinity pool with views over the natural valley of Las Colinas.

LANDSCAPING

The design of the Las Colinas development posed a great challenge of unevenness due to the prominent elevation of the land on which it is located, the topography of the site presents unevenness of about 10 meters between the opposing sides of the hill that forms the plot. For this reason, the design of the development is based on organic, sinuous, and adaptive forms, which manage to respect the original orography and landscape of the terrain.

The accessible designed routes that surround the building and guide the user around the plot to the different leisure and relaxation areas accompany the stroll and enjoyment of the surroundings, thanks to the views and the native vegetation.

DESIGN OF COMMON AREAS

The residential complex has a large children’s play area, a sports area, several areas designed as focal points and meeting and leisure areas, and a marvelous viewpoint overlooking the Mediterranean pine forest on the entire lower slope of the plot. Finally, the most important area of the development, the infinity swimming pool with views toward the future golf course to be built on the plot next to Colinas. The swimming pool has a pleasant lawn and a solarium area for complete relaxation and enjoyment.

The Mediterranean vegetation is perfectly integrated into the surroundings, with a selection of species adapted and resistant to the climatic conditions of Las Colinas requiring minimum care and low water consumption.
