Allon Bay is part of a particularly rich natural area. Embraced by the Barranco Hércules ravine and the River Torres, the pebble beach and turquoise waters form an incomparable landscape that Allonbay, through residential architecture, aims to preserve and enhance, even with an important historical monument such as the Roman funerary tower of San Josep. It is this landmark that leads us to break the orthogonality of the whole with a large diagonal that enhances its value.
In Aqua, the shapes, materials, and colors of the natural landscape are transferred to the building. At street level, a large stone plinth is formed by single-family houses, where we work on a human scale to favor the creation of pleasant and safe public spaces, encouraging interaction between neighbors as in a village. The towers rise above it, in light colors and sinuous shapes, generating a great typological variety in which each dwelling is studied in detail to maximize its potential.
LANDSCAPE INTEGRATION
This philosophy of listening to and integrating the landscape is also transferred to the design of the communal areas and green zones, not only in the shapes but also in the colors of the vegetation itself, taken from a catalog of shades found in the original landscape, always choosing plant species with low water consumption adapted to the environment in which we find ourselves.
